St. Joe's student contracts bacterial meningitisA Saint Joseph's University student was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, according to a message posted by the university on the MySJU homepage on April 24.
"Meningitis is an inflammation of the fluid in your spinal cord," said Laura Hurst, director of the Student Health Center in Sourin Hall.
